St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce Fishing Frenzy Rules
Target: One category – Largest Dolphin Fish. We’re playing by IGFA rules.
Entry Fee: $275 post-April 22. Remember, once you’re in, there are no refunds.
Crew Requirements: Each boat needs at least 2 anglers, with one being 18+. Max out your team with up to 6 anglers.
Prize Eligibility: Chartered boats, listen up! If you’ve got a pro captain and mate, you’re in for the fun but not the prizes.
Fishing Rules: Six lines max, folks. Teasers? Sure, but no hooks. And yes, live bait is a go.
Sign-Up: Register online until Thursday, May 9th or drop by the Square Grouper from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, May 10, 2024.
Captain’s Briefing: Mandatory meet at the Square Grouper, 6:45 PM, May 10, 2024. At least one team member must attend.
Tournament Day: Cast off at 6:00 AM, be at the dock or waiting inside the Fort Pierce Marina by 4:00 PM. Late for weigh-in? That’s a disqualification.
Weather Calls: Captain’s choice. Safety first, so we trust your judgment on the waves.
Tie-Breaker: First fish at the docks wins in the event of a tie.
Committee Rights: We can adjust these rules and make calls on awards. Our decisions are final.
Protests: Got an issue? Put it in writing and deliver it by 3:15 PM on tournament day.
Integrity Checks: Winners might face a polygraph or voice stress test. We also reserve the right to inspect boats.
Fishing Area: Stay within a 50-nautical-mile radius of Fort Pierce inlet.
Prizes: Keep your boat number handy for door prizes and special drawings at the Captain’s Briefing. Must be present to win.
Liability: Joining us means you understand the risks. Our team and the Chamber are not liable for any accidents or damage during the event.

Captain's Party is at Square Grouper Fort Pierce!

Check-In at the Fort Pierce City Marina!
All participants are required to check in at Fort Pierce City Marina before the tournament begins. Check-in starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 4:00 PM. Please ensure you have all necessary documents and equipment ready for inspection. All boats MUST be in the marina by 4:00 PM or they will be disqualified.
