As I am sure you are aware, the President has declared a national emergency. In addition, the CDC is recommending an 8-week period of “Social Distancing.’ Now is not the time to disregard such requests as we face a lot of uncertainty with this virus. As the CEO of the Chamber, I have a duty to our staff, our members, our community and our nation to do want I can to avoid unnecessary risk.

Keeping this in mind, we feel we must cancel all chamber events through May 8th and all chamber meetings through April 10th. Working with our partners at the City of Fort Pierce, we have decided to close the Seven Gables House through April 3rd. Staff will continue to be in the administrative office Monday through Friday but with limited hours.
