BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP ANNUAL ST. LUCIE COUNTY BUSINESS
& COMMUNITY GUIDE – All members receive two free listings
in our annual Business and Community Guide, categorically and alphabetically.
The guides are used for visitor and relocation packets and are available
for distribution by our local businesses and our three Chamber locations.
BROCHURE DISPLAY SPACE - Brochures, business cards and other marketing materials of members may be displayed in all three Chamber lobbies for all walk-in visitors to pick up. We welcome over 15,000 visitors annually. CHAMBER CURRENTS - Each member receives a copy of our monthly newsletter mailed to your business and it can be found on our website. The newsletter contains useful information on upcoming events, business related issues, committee updates and member news. Advertising opportunities are available as inserts or display ads in this monthly publication. REFERRALS - Requests for suppliers of goods or services received at the Chamber are referred only to Chamber members using the Membership Directory and the Chamber's database as resources. Visitors, residents and those seeking to relocate most often use the Chamber of Commerce as their first source for information. ACCESS TO CHAMBER PARTNERSHIPS - The Chamber has partnered with several members and national companies offering discounts and additional benefits for Chamber members. The partnerships include: newspapers, radio, consultants, various design artists, and the Nation Job Network which is an unlimited network of Internet services for employers seeking qualified employees. REMEMBER TO MEMBER – Members are eligible to participate in a member to member discount program. This program is specifically designed to increase business for our members and encourage members to shop other chamber members first. COMMITTEES – The Chamber has ten committees working to improve and assist individual member businesses as well as enhance the general business community. Committee participation is a great way to build business relationships, make friends, and help shape the future of our community. NEW MEMBER MARKETING PACKAGE – New members will receive a marketing and advertising package valued at over $2,300.00. See membership application for details. CHAMBER MEMBERS ONLY -- MONTHLY CHAMBER NETWORKING EVENTS BUSINESS AND SOCIAL HOUR (BASH) -The Business After Hours event is one of our most popular events and is FREE to all members. NETWORKING BREAKFAST – Members are encouraged to come and meet other new and existing members, board members, committee members and the Chamber staff. Be sure to bring your business cards and find out how you can maximize your Chamber membership! COMMERCE STREET LUNCHEON - This luncheon gathering is a great way to enhance your business day. Learn about issues of importance impacting our community while networking with other Chamber members. COFFEE WITH THE PORT ST. LUCIE MAYOR and COFFEE WITH THE COMMISSIONER - Chamber members and residents gather each month to hear an update from Mayor Patricia Christensen and Commissioner Chairman Joe Smith. CHAMBER 101 and MEMBER MONEY MAKERS - Each month, alternating between Chamber 101 and Member Money Makers, members can learn about the variety of Chamber benefits, committees and learn how to effectively utilize the Chamber to grow your business. Member Money Makers further enhance your networking experience and provide additional tools to enhance your business opportunitites.
